Verify terms of use

Updated 02/10/2026.

The service

Verify is an information service: it shows what results from moderated community reports, public lists and alerts from authorities cited in the app, and analyses some content on your phone. It is not legal, financial or technical advice and does not replace banks, police or public bodies. Verify is not affiliated with or endorsed by any public authority.

No warranty

Results may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. “No reports” does not mean a contact is trustworthy; the audio analysis is an automated assessment, not proof. Decisions remain yours: if in doubt, always check through official channels.

Reports

Only report what you actually received and describe it truthfully, without unnecessary personal data. Reports are moderated and may be rejected or removed; they do not accuse anyone of a crime. Anyone who believes content is listed by mistake can ask for a review at /opposizione. Using the service for false reports, harassment or automated data collection is forbidden.

Premium and subscription

Verify is free with ads. Premium is an annual subscription that removes ads, bought and managed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under the store's terms: the price is shown before purchase, the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and it is cancelled in your store account settings. Refunds follow the store's rules.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage arising from the use of the results or from being unable to use the service. Mandatory consumer rights and liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence are not affected.

Governing law

Italian law applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. For consumers, the courts of their place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction.
